Ballet Soul is a London-based performing dance company and registered charity, founded in the summer of 2004 under the artistic direction of choreographer Benjamin Love. The mission of Ballet Soul is to develop a language of dance that is rooted in the discipline of classical ballet, fusing different dance forms and mixing together the rhythms and movements found in African, Eastern and Western cultures. It is this mixing together of cultures and styles that gives the company its unique voice – one that celebrates the vibrancy of the contemporary cultural scene in London.
